D'oh. Forgot to mention the 2014 show that I'm *MOST* excited about.

TRUE DETECTIVE on HBO with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. What a "GET" for casting, especially since both will probably be nominated for Oscars this year. This show looks dark and creepy and haunting. I CAN'T WAIT.

Yeah, this might be the one show that tips the scales in the "Me paying for HBO" category. The promos look phenomenal.

Wow. I love LOVE this show. It's wonderfully dark and intense. It's like McConaughey was made to play this role. The music selections are great too. The theme song is perfect.

Has anyone else been watching Helix on Sci-Fi? So far it is has been good but not great, but it has a lot of potential. It's about a research base in Antarctica where a virus outbreak happens. The virus of course turns people into black goo spitting super strong wackos. There is a good bit of mystery about what was going on at the base and the intentions of everyone there. This could develop into a really strong show similar to Lost.

About A Boy - They made the movie into one 1/2 hour episode. It was really good, but it's going to take some impressive writing to keep it going.
Growing Up Fisher - Has potential and the cast is great, but I don't know if it will get/keep an audience. I'll keep watching though.
Mixology - A big waste of time. Mostly jaded, jerky characters who I could care less about or would participate in their death. Almost finished it.

I've been dvr-ing Enlisted (Friday nights) and it's been fun. I am mostly watching because of Chris Lowell, who is playing someone completely different than his character in Veronica Mars or Private Practice.

I was telling Kwyjibo about this new Syfy show and figured I should share it here. It starts tomorrow, 3/25/14.

I'm IN unless it's a Tuesday or Wednesday. Sundays are the best TV night anyway.

If you haven't seen REVIEW on Comedy Central, you should give it a chance.  I have seen the first 3 episodes, and as a slow build to what happens on #3, they are outstanding.
