"You, Me & the Apocalypse"

I'm enjoying this. It feels very very British for an American show

It is pretty good.  You gotta love Megan Mullally, Jenna Fisher, and Rob Lowe all in one show.

THE AMERICANS is back this week.  Watch it, or I'll kick you in the nuts.  Even if you're a lady.

Yes, ladies have nuts.  And this show is absolutely fantastic.

Julie and I watched the first two episodes of Vinyl over the weekend.  I liked it quite a bit, it seemed to jibe with what I've heard about the music industry, though obviously sensationalized quite a bit.  It was also a lot more violent than I had anticipated.  Lots of good music too, of course.  Looking forward to seeing what happens.

Ladies who watch this show have nuts. BIG ONES.
So, if you're a lady who doesn't watch this show and you're looking to grow a pair, WATCH IT!!!

This show is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good.

Butter, do you listen to the Slate podcast of the show?

http://theamericans.audio.slate.com/

They do a weekly episode following that week's TV episode. SO GOOD because it's moderated by the show's script supervisor and usually includes the show's co-creators and various cast members.

Poor Dice. YEESH.
We just watched the first two episodes as well and we are into it.
I can't believe that building collapse actually happened (though it was at a different time of day).

Finally starting watching and I'm hooked. It's a co-production between NBC and Sky One, so that explains the British part. (The UK premier was Sept. 30, 2015.)

Netflix Original: "Flaked"

One episode. Deleted from queue.
Felt like an even less funny "Portlandia" or a less nude "Californication"

STRANGER THINGS on Netflix is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good.
I paced myself and ended up watching all 8 episodes in 6 days instead of watching them all in a 24 hour period like I wanted.

I'm through Episode 4... I really liked Ep. 1, then Ep. 2 felt like it was going down a rather mediocre road... then 3 & 4 happened, and I nearly binged them all, definitely considered staying up all night or playing hooky today.

But the responsible adult in me whispered to go to sleep past midnight after Ep. 4 last night.  But 3 & 4 were really, really good, especially 4.

Looking forward to finishing it off this week, would suggest others do the same.  It's just got a really good feel about it, and while the acting is far from the best I've ever seen, Winona Ryder is pretty much killing it.

Episode 5 was probably my favorite. So, good things await you.

ATLANTA... 1st episode was pretty good... 2nd episode (mostly in the jail) was AMAZING.  Looking forward to watching #3 which was on last night.

BETTER THINGS... 1st episode was barely funny.  I don't know if it's just not for me, or what.  I love Pamela Adlon, but I don't know why I didn't like it.  I didn't even smile anywhere during it.  Maybe give it one more before tapping out.

Dude's story about how he ended up in jail after seeing a guy whom he hadn't seen in like 11-12 years was THE BEST.

That lemon pepper wet, though?

The best was when the guy turned out to be right in front of him and was apologetic.
