17776 - What football will look like in the future
« on: August 18, 2017, 08:05:55 PM »

Hi all,

I'm not sure where to post this but I thought it was cool and pretty interesting.
Its a futuristic sci-fi/sports/science thing using text and animated gifs along with youtube vids to describe a setting 15000 years in the future where voyager 9 and voyager 10 (and a probe yet to be launched) have gained sentience and
bide their time by watching football as it has strangely evolved after humans stopped aging, dying or being born in the year 2026.
I thought is was fun.

Welcome to Randomville!

I had started reading that thanks to va_vacious, but closed the browser and lost the link. Thanks for sharing. Now to find where I stopped reading...

Thanks for the welcome Ella! Allthough more accurately, it might be (I hope) a welcome back. I was Watusi in a former life from WOXY and here. I've been in lurk mode for about 8 years(?). I doubt anyone remembers me but you guys have always been a source of information about music and movies and beyond that, a familiar, safe port in a storm. I'm really glad Randomville is still here.

Life is good. Y'all still rock it...

Of course it's a welcome back! I was wondering if you were a board member. While our numbers are small, I'm glad we're still here, too!

I remember Watusi.

Not gonna lie - I don't remember much else. But welcome.

I also remember you, welcome back!  Sadly, we have more people slowly fade away than return or join, so it's great to see an old (virtual) face!
