-  i'm a stranger here myself- bill bryson
- oh crap!  Potty Training: Everything Modern Parents Need to Know to Do It Once and Do It Right- jamie glowacki
- sideshow usa: freaks and the american cultural imagination-  rachel adams

- bhagavad gita- translated and commentary by ac bhaktivedanta swami prabhupada- this guy is not a party animal.  even though he hung out with george harrison.  no, he's just a devotee of an impossible way to live.  complete detachment from the material world.  of the seven hundred verses in the bhagavad gita, he supplied roughly a page of commentary.  lots of repetition.  which was actually useful.  made important principles stick.  he said that was the point.  but what he said made a lot of sense.  i'm gonna read a less hardcore translation of the gita and hopefully come out a lot less scarred

i'll tell ya about it someday
