Santa Barbara ZCS... mmmm, what a great Cali wine.  That is saying a lot, I have a huge prejudice against Cali wines.

Rosemary & Olive Oil Triscuit crackers.

I HATE regular Triscuit crackers, but I nearly ate the entire box of these.

Okay, this is a beverage, but it's new-ish. My sister mentioned to me that she tried a ginger vodka not too long ago, neither of us like vodka but she loved this stuff. Her friend served it in a cocktail with a piece of candied ginger and topped off with a bit of champagne--she said it's the best thing to happen to ginger ale since demeter made it into a fragrance. She said it was more like hot ginger ale than regular ginger ale, but it was very easy to drink.

We picked some of these up this weekend. They are divine with a little tuna salad on top.

UDF's making a fried ice cream. It's probably only for cinco de mayo, but it's yummy (cinnamon flavored ice cream with carmel and cinnamon/sugar tortilla pieces). It's only available in the big packages though.

I swear Steve's got the sympathy cravings, he's the one that has been craving all the sweets.

They don't taste that different from regular M&M's to me.  We had some peanut ones this weekend... they're good, but I guess I'm just not that big of an M&M fan to begin with.

Okay, this is not so much about the food being new, but more about the prize in the cereal- Apple Jacks have this "saber spoon" in them.  It's a plastic spoon with a lightsaber handle.  Press a button and it lights up.  Way cool for nerds.  I think they still have them at the Meijer in Florence, that's where I've gotten my 2.

This just made me think of the meeting at Kellogg's where they came  up with this idea and its attendant slogan: "You know, for nerds".
