You have been mixing these with water and not eating them raw, right?

The new Dark Chocolate Fudge Stripe Cookies are amazing...
You see, these are the things I miss by avoiding the cookie aisle. *Makes mental note to find them on next shopping trip.*

I nearly bought them at the store yesterday. My diet is thanking me right now because half of the package would probably be gone by now.

I got one back in the fall in Findley, I think it was.  Damned delicious.

I rarely visit our vending machines at work, so I have no idea if these are new or not, but they are amazingly delicious - and only 150 calories!

I've got a new food find to avoid! I love most of the stuff Morningstar Farms does but the new veggie meatballs are just atrocious. We'll start with the worst part: the texture. I baked them according to the package directions and they were squishy in the middle. It was disconcerting and kinda icky. The taste isn't bad but it's got a definite cardboard flavor which even my heavily garliced sauce couldn't hide. There are microwave instructions on the package, I can't imagine how much worse these'd be nuked.   :P

There are other veggie meatballs out there that do it better, stay away from these.

Boca used to have some great ones, they were tasty and had a nice texture. Veggie Patch (I think) has some, the texture is a bit dry but they taste good.

One word: Quorn
Talking of Quorn, I just used the quorn pieces for a curried stir fry. It seems that they've drastically changed the way they produce it, at least, over here. Packaging just the same as ever, not the product.

The pieces were uniformed cubes and very dense-looking. Almost like a dark tofu. Still, it tasted virtually the same, just have to get used to the consisntency, I guess. We've been using that shit for years, and it's quite a departure from their original recipe.

Do they mess around with Quorn and other food's constituent recipes over there, too?

Quorn sounds like a foodstuff from Star Trek.
