Coming Soon to DVD.....Alex's Tantrums!!!!
« on: December 30, 2004, 12:56:06 PM »

So Alex is really going through the terrible twos. I'm talking a good 7-8 tantrums a day. So, while he was having a fit over nothing a little while ago, I whipped out the video camera so I could document how awful he was acting. In my amazement, he hated being filmed and stopped having a tantrum so I would stop taping him. Pretty soon I'm going to have a library of Alex tantrum tapes!  :lol

Yeah, those'll be great to whip out when Alex shows up with his prom date in about 16 years.

If only you could have taped the poop smearing incidents to pull out when he gets older.

My mom always claimed she was going to pull out embarassing pieces of evidence like those at significant times in my life.

She's all talk, no action. Plus, I think she lost the pictures.

Clemson, I SOOOOOOOOOO want to see the videos. My nephew has just hit his terrible two's also. When we saw him the other day he had learned a new one--throwing himself down on the floor and screaming bloody murder.

He did this because his Mommy limited the number of Jelly Belly's he could eat.

Sometimes Alex throws himself on the ground and scoots around a la Three Stooges. It's pretty hilarious sometimes.

Kenna seemed to be going through hers, but I think she's already lightened up. Thankfully. She does throw fits from time to time, but nothing like what it sounds like you're going through with Alex. My thoughts are with you.

Apparently in my hissy fits, I used to do this thing my oldest brother dubbed "The Jackass."  I would get down on my hands and knees and then kick out my back feet like a braying ass.  Why, I do not know.  And I'm not 100% sure how old I was when I used to do this, but I'm thinking I was about 5 or 6 because I can remember getting even more furious when everyone started laughing at me for it.

My son Aaron is 2 1/2 and since he was a baby he's had this thing where if he cries and gets upset enough he will puke.  I hate it every time he does it and I have no idea how to break him of the habit.  It usually takes a lot for him to get that upset, like last night when we were at the Burger King in Monroe.  He and some other kid were playing in the tubes and tunnels when the other kid pushed Aaron down.  Aaron is small for his age and really can't fight back a kid that's a little bigger than him, so he started crying.  I was up in the tubes and couldn't get to him before his chocolate milk and chicken nuggets came back up.  Picture me laying in a tunnell two stories up trying to clean up puke from the tunnels while trying to keep him calm and other kids from running through it.

Maybe you could send him to one of those reform camps they show on Jenny Jones all the time.  If a scary black ex-con in fatigues can't straighten him up I hear P&G is always looking for bright young go-getters in the Pamper Rash labs.
