I saw about 20 more shows this year than I saw last year, and I can't think of one that out-and-out sucked. A couple of opening bands were weak, but I can't hold that against the bands I was really there to see.

Well I'm totally jealous of all you people who've seen the Arcade Fire.  But yeah, seeing two awesome bands is what made my top three choices earn their keep.  FF/Delays was mesmerizing for me.  Truly amazing.  If I had gotten to the Black Cat early enough, I would have seen the Killers be the 1st opener for Stellastarr and Ambulance LTD.  Go figure.  *sigh*
