Oooh, that's promising.  I love the one album that she was on.   Do you know if it sounds like the old SP stuff?

too bad CMJ doesn't have a magazine anymore(apart from the one for college/alternative radio) but they did have a good write up on her cd,which was out last year and compared it to a more post-modern version of Madonna.

the Mercury Rev is already available through your file-sharing program of choice.  but yeah...lots of good stuff this week.  Look for at least five albums to be reviewed from this one alone.

*shame-face*  uh yeah, I have the Mercury Rev.  Not bad.  Wouldn't say it's going to mass-convert non-Mercury Rev fans, and I don't know where it stands in their pantheon just yet but if you like Mercury Rev, you'll like this.

Wow.  The best spammers bump year old threads about completely unrelated topics.

No, but seriously, thanks for the link.  You should check out this band before you go, though, it's awesome!

God damnit.  We had one of these in this thread the other day and I deleted it.  Actually, other than the name, it was the exact same message.

This forum isn't even set up to accept posts from guests. How the hell did they do that?
