The Arcade Fire has been overrated for at least two years now. So, I can't believe I'm saying this, but - Doug, you and I actually agree on something, music-wise!

And I love how everyone just calls him "Dwight Schrute" now: as in, "Hey, did you see Dwight Schrute on Saturday Night Live this weekend?" or "Do you remember when Dwight Schrute used to be on Six Feet Under?"

I called him that because I'm too lazy to look up his name.

Hillarious that we agree on something though.  Somewhere a solar system exploded.

I like Dwight Schrute better than his real name (Rainn Wilson) - at least when you call him Dwight Schrute, everyone knows exactly who you're talking about. I wonder how he feels about being typecast? I guess the steady stream of residual checks that will start coming in once the show hits syndication will help to ease the pain.

Yep, pretty hilarious.

The guy does painful moments better than anyone in the business.

As for The Arcade Fire, if you're judging them on that performance, I would agree that it sounded like an undisciplined mess.  But I still find myself going back to Funeral over and over again.  And I'm looking forward to their new album.  At least this spin-off band has turned out better than Mars Volta.

Huh?  I didn't know they were a spinoff.  Educate me.

And I really like Mars Volta, so we'll have to agree to disagree on that.

Looking it up, I actually think I'm wrong about that.  Wouldn't be the first time.

I actually fell asleep watching the show.  That wouldn't be so bad if it'd been after midnight Saturday but we had DVR'd it and were watching it at 7pm the next day.

This just proves to me that no matter the host, SNL sucks.  All of the sketches I saw went on well past what they should have.  I did enjoy seeing Keenan do Stanley... but IMHO Keenan is one of the few genuinely funny people on the show to begin with.

Oh, and Arcade Fire sucks... at least that's my determination after the SNL appearance.  I might have been interested before but I can just go ahead and write them off now.

I thought the arcade fire sounded great...and I'm not really that much of a fan.
