When I was a kid I had an Atari system that came with Pong and Super Breakout.

Now I have a $20 game set thingee from Target that plugs into the television and allows me to play my beloved Galaga until my eyes bleed! Damn you, flying space scorpions!

What video game system did you have growing up (or first get as an adult)?

I know we had an Atari but I dunno what kind.  Then we had an Enteract which ran off cassette tapes.  Mazes and Monsters!  Oooooh!  Then when I was seven we got the Apple IIe.  And then we had the original Nintendo.  And so on.

The first I remember that we owned was an Apple computer that used DOS that we played Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Oregan Trail on.  I've personally, never owned an actually gaming system besides a computer, but my sisters had a Nintendo and I've had numerous roommates with Playstations.

First was an Atari 2600 then I got a Commodore 64.  I eventually got a nintendo which was all I had until I was an adult.

Never owned one.

Borrowed a friend's Spectrum ZX for a couple of weeks in the 80's, but that's pretty much it for me and game systems.

After having fun playing a version of Grand Theft Auto in Copenhagen a couple of christmasses ago in the flat we we renting, I toyed with getting a playstation... then realised I already had way too much to distract me

QOTD

Which side of the bed do you sleep on?

Growing up, I slept on the right (as you're in bed). Now I sleep on the left. Interesting, it's always been the south side of the bed.

I sleep on the left usually. When we visit my Mom's house I sleep on the right. It's pretty much the side that's closest to the light switch.

I change it up too.  Sometimes I wake my boyfriend up in the middle of the night and make him switch sides with me.  My sinuses bother me a lot and sometimes I can't breathe out my nose if I'm laying on one side or the other.
