Have no idea if this has been posted yet but good god it's hysterical.

I didn't click on your link, but I've seen the ad, and it does crack me up. I love the VeeDub gang signs.  There's another one as well, but the "We just dropped it like it's hot" one is several times funnier to me, for some reason.

There's a third one too. It might not have aired around here yet, but it's by far the best of the three. I LOVE the stoic blonde assistant "You get an 'F'". The best vw ads ever.

Well, that little tidbit of knowledge caused me to waste a couple of minutes finding and viewing the third ad.  Not as funny, although I did enjoy the look on the German Vee Dub guy's face after he said "Let me hear you say vat,"  and the guy responded with a puzzled "What?"

"Vat time is it?" is awesome.

I almost want to pick up one of the tuner mags to see if anyone's written any angry letters about the ads. Almost.

Those VW ads... is that Peter Stormare (the blonde wood-chipper killer from "Fargo") as one of the assistants?  I think it is, but I could be totally off.

After being exposed to the Jason McElwain video about a hundred times, I don't know what to think.

You know, I've been thinking about this, too.  I think what it comes down to is the fact that we could ignore the autism and it would still be amazing.  Yes he has great form, but that doesn't mean he's going to hit 6 of 10 three-pointers.  What is amazing is that this is a kid who most likely has dreamed of playing for so long.  It's all he's wanted to do.  So they finally put him in, and they don't know how he's going to react.  Will he freak out?  Will he panic?  Will he stink it up due to nerves?  THEN we can add in the autism factor, and it makes it even harder to believe one of the above won't happen.  The fact that he was able to perform like that is just incredible considering he's never been in a game situation before.  We all know that those are tough situations, no matter how well-prepared you are for it.

But he also knew every play of theirs, so that helped him.  He also was probably (although I don't know for sure) popping the ball as soon as he got it and had a look.  His endless repetitions in the past helped as well.  The kids on the team were probably feeding him the ball as soon as they could, too.  These are all factors that helped it happen, but it doesn't mean it's easy.  After a while, the other team had to know he was going to pop it as soon as he touched it.  Yet he was still on fire.

So, not to shoot you down, but I do think it's still an amazing fact.  And, beyond all that, he's still autistic.  Craziness.

Nothing but net.

Saw 3: Death By Viagra

#2 is a bit NSFW (no nudity though) and is cartoonish/grizzly.
