I've been posting these at WOXY...thought I'd share the love.  Here the one's I've posted over there so far...

The Cool Ones

Warp back in time to that whimsical 2 week period of our cultural history  when this was actually cool.

This one blew my mind...

Octopus Camoflage

And this next one is too priceless to pass up...

I always liked this one.

Safe for work...unless you don't want people to see you watching mostly naked fat men.  :)

You people are already behind on this!  Slackers!  ;)

Here's video of the behind the backboard dunk at NBA All-Star weekend Saturday that was pretty cool.

Well, guess what...my fricken' work filtered Google Video the day after I started doing this.  There's a wealth of hillarity out there.  Maybe I'll actually try to add links from home for a change.

I hate when that happens.  It's happening a lot more frequently here, too.

Holy cow that was sweet.  I hadn't seen that.  Too bad he lost - doing something like aught to win you the contest.

This year's dunk contest sucked worse than ever.  Apparently the rules were changed so now you had unlimited chances to make your dunk.  So the winner, who's like 5'9" or so, missed 14 consecutive dunks (Seriously...it was 14.  Excruciating to watch) before throwing one down.  And then there's this guy in the video clip who probably has the most memorable dunk in the last ten years of the contest, who gets robbed.  The NBA needs to do away with this contest next season, or dramatically revamp it.

Yeah, that happened last year, too.  The dude...Anderson, I think?...took about 8 tries, and I watched all 8.  It sucks after the third try.

That dude, btw, was the first guy in years to be kicked out of the NBA for substance abuse violations.  Articles about it said he would be best remembered as the guy who took so many attempts to dunk.  I thought that funny.

Nate Robinson is the name of the winner.  I heard his Spud Webb dunk was pretty cool, but I didn't see it.

Personally I find the dunk contest boring.

Yeah, he jumped over Spud Webb and dunked.  Ehh.  It was ok.

The substance abuse violation policy in the NBA is killer.  Two year suspension.  Which effectively ends player's careers.  And also explains why violations are rare.

It's the next clip on that page, by the way.

Pretty cool.

Yeah, pretty cool.  I liked the other one better.  Especially if it took 14 takes to do this one.  Ugh.

Question for all you smart people:  Why can't my Firefox play videos? If I go to that page it gives me a broken link and says "click here to install" and then just leads me to the latest Windows Media Player download.  Except I've already done that two or three times, so I KNOW that I have Windows Media Player.  Is there an extension that I need to get?  It's annoying to have to go open IE just to watch the videos.

Yeah, I had to do that too.  But I've had no problem playing videos in FF before.

Google and YouTube appear to be flash based. I think that makes them present like a large file download rather than a stream.
