We ended up scoring a variant cover because our local comic book guy accidentally ordered twice since he forgot he had already ordered some.  Win win win for us.  I hope you get your hands on a copy, soon!

Nooooooooooo!!!!!! That's the only show besides Friday Night Lights I have to watch. No talk of cancelling, I'm in denial!

It would be a cool idea, though.  I still have to pick up a copy. I hope that one of the shops here still has it.

I read on the Whedonesque rss feed that the second printing was due out this week.  Good luck finding a copy!

This week is Whedon comic week.  The new Buffy, the new Astonishing X-Men, and the new Runaways are all out.  And of course the penultimate issue of Strangers in Paradise.  It's a damn good comics week.

Pretty much everything Joss does is gold. I even like Alien Resurrection quite a bit (anything with Ron Perlman is bound to kick ass). Whedon has been great about keeping his stories alive in the face of cancellation and the like. The Serenity miniseries was awesome.

YAY!  Number 6 is out now!  And it's all about Faith!!!  So far it's fabulous.  I'm halfway through, and sat it aside to make it last.

This Faith arc is going to be good- I'm looking forward to next month!  I also picked up the Omnibus Vol. 1 while at the store.

I liked the first part of the Faith arc.  It seems like it is going to be extremely interesting. 

The downside is that it is coming after the absolutely amazing one-off they did last issue.  That was probably one of the best comics I have read in quite a while.  If captured the feel of the series perfectly.

Oh I agree completely, Dirk.  They were starting to lose me there for a minute, and then last month's issue was SO GOOD.  It was a shame they had to jump right into the Faith thing without doing more of the last issue, but I guess we have to wait out the suspense.

This one made me all kinds of happy in the pants because Faith was there and I have a bit of a girly crush on her.  I was a little bummed about some of the artwork.  There's one panel of Faith early in the issue where she looks half like Sloth from Goonies.  I was like, wtf? 

Anyway, Faith and Giles made me half want to turn hardcore nerdier and write slash fic, but no way I am treading down that dark path of nerdom.  There's no coming back from it, lol.

So glad to see the series doing so well, loved the small bit of Xander, it was classic Whedon.
