Here's my sister's take on the show in Nashville (which was lastnight):
The concert was amazing... I wanted to call you after I left Muse's set but Interpol was already playing and it was too loud..
We got there right at the start so we saw pretty much everybody (I missed Thursday, they were before the Cure on the 2nd stage and I was pooped so I sat). The first band.. whose name escapes me was okay but not great. Mogwai was fabooo, very cool. It was an all instrumental set and was very heavy. Auf da maur was okay... she got better as her set went on... but I don't really like her voice, she's definitely used protools to put her on key on her album. The Rapture was good, we didn't go back to our seats for it but heard it from the food booths.
Muse was AWESOME!! Their set was soooo good. Mostly stuff off the latest disc, but they put a few older ones in there. It was great... I hope that they come back to play a few sets on their own...
Interpol was good but they had the misfortune of being after Muse, and Muse blew everyone away.
I missed Thursday.. The Cure came onstage right at 9:15 and played until11pm. They were fantastic. I had heard that Robert's voice was showing it;s age but you couldn't tell last night. He sounded perfect, just like the albums.. They did some new material but mostly the hits, lots off of Disintegration.. It was great... I stood there thinking "I can't f'ing believe I'm seeing the cure." We had great seats... stage left, 7 rows back from the mosh pit.. We could see everything! :-) Worth the 50 bucks..
