The motivation for you to pay off your library late fees might also be that they will report you to a collection agency if your fines exceed $25.00.  Library ain't fucking around no mo'.

Nope.  And if the collection agency doesn't work, they send over Guido and Vinnie, who explain to you that "Things could get real unpleasant if the library doesn't get paid, see?"  Then they break your thumb, just as an attention getter.

Just finished The Day After Tomorrow.  Perhaps in the morning, with a little perspective, I'll be able to evaluate the movie more thoroughly.  For now, all I can say is that it was bad.  Really bad.  Really, really fucking bad.

Nope, I first watched it a couple of weeks ago, and its terribleness still festers in my mind.  Maybe one day, the pain will go away, but right now, hell, I'd rather watch "The Apple" than have to sit through that piece of shit again.

Picked up Employee of the Month about a week ago and finally watched it.  Steve Zahn is hilarious.  Very good dark comedy.

Finally got around to seeing Shaun of the dead yesterday, we both really enjoyed it--we were going to do a double feature "dawn of the dead" (the new one) then shaun of the dead, but we got lazy.

We watched this last night.

I knew what was happening at the end... until the writer decided to see just how many "twists" he could pack into 5 minutes worth of film.  Almost kinda ruined it for me.  But it was good overall.  Surprising to see the hooker is the secretary from the US version of "The Office".

We also watched In Good Company last night. I really liked it. I'm also a sucker for Dennis Quaid (I would love for him to be my Hollywood Dad) and movies about relationships. It wasn't a romance, it's more of a father figure and son movie.

I cried at the end. Of course, I'm more emotional this week of the month if you catch my drift.

Yeah. I always get this way around the autumn equinox.

Oh, you meant...never mind.

And yeah, Butter, EoTM did get a little silly there towards then end.  By the time it wrapped, the final twist was so predictable that it failed to shock me one bit.  But I hope you chuckled a bit before it turned dark and twisty.

Steve Zahn had me cracking up all the way through... and the Mrs. and I enjoyed Dave Foley's cameo, so it was good all around.  Plus, I love a good revenge saga, which is what this looked like for 85 minutes, so I was pleased.

Over the weekend, Michelle got Bride and Prejudice on Pay Per View.  I always heave a sigh and roll my eyes whenever she gets one of these movies, but then I find myself wrapped up in them fairly quickly.  It's a Hollywoood/Baliwood fusion.  I really dig Indian music, so I enjoyed all the color and music and dancing.  It's pretty fun to watch.  Plus, the lead actess, Aishwarya Rai is pretty scrumptious.

I've never even heard of this.  When did it come out?

I love Steve Zahn, why he isn't huge I'll never understand.  He's one of the funniest people in Hollywood because he's actually got comedic timing, he doesn't have to rely on Jim Carey slapstick to be funny.

It came out in 2004.  I think it was a straight to blockbuster/video.

I don't quite get it either why he's not more well known.  From looking at his list of movie credits, he's not been in anything that's been really huge.  Reality Bites seems to be the biggest one I can think of.

Yeah, but it's been so long since I've seen it and it kind of blends with so many other Meg Ryan chick flicks I couldn't place him.

I do remember him as the slacker dad in Riding In Cars With Boys.

Watched Hitch the other night. I liked it. Kevin James was great!

For a non-romance movie lover's thoughts, ask Butter what he thought of it.
